yeah, cocaine is a serious, hard-core drug. I'm pretty sure there are some people at my school doing it (I know one guy who got caught selling it ... he's in jail) but I've never had firsthand experience with people on it. You could look it up on the internet, wikipedia or something, to learn more about it.

Sorry I can't tell you more!

It depends how good the quality of the cocaine is and how much in weight you ask for, but a kilogram would usually cost over £1,000
But for small amounts it would usually be about £50

Yeah seriously and taking cocaine for long periods can actually cause heart faliure, if your that worried about it you should mention it to your bf and point out the risks.

I'd approach it sensitively though. Even well intentioned meddling can be offputting.

lol sounds good enough to me
I'd serious talk to him about it, but don't be angry or nag him. It might make the situation worse. Just tell him how much you care about him and don't want anything to happen to him.

Last year in Halls, we suspected one of my flatemates was doing it. He was always poor, and was holed up in either his or his friends room for hours at a time, and was generally strange after about 8pm. My other flatmate was in my flatemates friends room and a load of them were doing lines of the top of a fridge (God knows how he managed to smuggle a full on fridge into his room but he did). My flatemate was never seen doing it, but it was quite obvious he was and it scared the **** out of me!

yea he used to do it b4 we went out but stopped when he went to uni... i persume its because he couldnt find a dealer...
luckily I dont see him when he's off his face... but over xmas he was when we went out and i couldnt even look at him
Its really gross what it does to people. I'd seriously consider giving him an ultimatum (me, or drugs)!

Please be careful about things like this, you never know what someone whose coked up can do!

Don't do drugs people! I've never even tried a cigarette and just find polluting your body with crap utterly ridiculous.
Some of my friends used to do it a lot (thankfully not anymore). I'll even admit to trying it a couple times when drunk and not being impressed with its effects. My city is currently awash with it.

A person who's used to it can very easily do £200 worth in one night without risk of O.D. Mostly cos it's "cut" (diluted with baking soda usually) to pieces.

On its own in small amounts the odd time is not very harmful. Trouble is it's addictive as hell. People end up not being able to enjoy a night out or a party without coke. They become boring and you end up tearing into your savings just so you can have a good time. They end up doing too much and going on crazy psychotic drug-fuelled binges. They can become extremely paranoid and aggressive too with longterm overuse.

You say your bf is a student and you don't know where he gets the money? From experience I've seen people fund their habit by buying more than they need, cutting it, using some and selling the rest for the same price they bought it (cos it's cut). Now he's probably not, nevertheless this what would really worry me.

No i think it would be fair for this girl to try discussing the risks etc with her bf first, then if he just turns a blind eye to it then you do the ultimatum

well i smoke...
i dont intend on giving him an ultimatum because if i was in his shoes i'd probably choose drugs over a nagging gf trying to change me and giving me ultimatums...
Like MNB said, do the ultimatum after you've tried to talk him out of drugs, sorry thats what I meant, but didn't make it clear!

I didn't mean to offend when I said "I've never even tried a cigarette and just find polluting your body with crap utterly ridiculous", thats just my opinion
