Declaring grade question

I completed my a levels a couple of years ago, I went to uni straight after college but i decided to resit a unit on one of my a levels because I scored 478. In the result in January I somehow got exactly the same score so i just decided to forgot about it. On my certificate ever since it states I achieved the A level in January 2007. I've asked ocr and they won't change my certificate to june 2006 like all my other A levels.

If I ever have to show my certificates to an employer or admissions tutor i'm wondering if there's a way of explaining the date. Can I say I decided to resit in January, but i never actually sat the exam, hence my result is declared as Jan 07?

It won't matter. An employer won't care when you got the qualification, only that you did get it and achieved a high grade. A degree is more important than A-Levels anyway.

As long as you can demonstrate the skills learnt in the A-Level then that's all that matters.
