There are a number of possible reasons for this dependent on a number of different things. Go and see your doctor and do NOT rely on anyone in this thread to tell you definitively what is wrong

def screams out 'doctor' to me
Could be piles or a polyps.

I know it sounds a bit gross...but is it difficult to go? Like do you force it? If so that may be why but it's still worth going to the doc just to be sure.

Def. doctor. Could be piles...

... could be bowel cancer.

Yeah, if it's actually part of the faeces, definitely see your doctor (as with blood from any part of the digestive tract). If it just comes off on the paper but doesn't come out, you've just strained your anus.

It could be nothing, and you're just seeing bits of undigested red pepper or something. But, it could be more serious. Since you're worried enough to make this thread you're worried enough to go to the doctor.

Go an see your GP, it could be a number of things serious and not serious but your best bet is to get it checked out by your gp as it will put your mind at risk.

Umm...O.k. I have the same thing, though I've never really thought twice about it. I'm in no pain and it causes me no trouble or anything....
Go and see your doctor ASAP.

That happened to my dad just before the summer and he was diagnosed with bowel cancer. (sorry, don't mean to frighten you!)

Go and get it checked out and don't be embarrassed, better to be safe than sorry.

It actually does happen to many people.

Its happened before. Stops after a while.
I would say just check with the Doctor if you're concerned and it persists.

It is fresh or old blood?
Reply 17
Internal hemorrhoid produces dried blood with no pain.

External hemorrhoid produces fresh blood with pain.
Reply 18
lol, its probably anal lacerations.

yeh you have heard it all before, but get a professional opinion! no opinion here is as valid as your doctor's!
