How to make someone you fancy to be your boyfriend??

I have got a new target now, the guy that I go to college with has a girl frd and I also found that I dun actully fancy him that much... There is another guy that I work with that I quite like, he is very cute and also very man, this is why I like him... but the problem is he is very very shy, if you dun start the conversation, he wouldn't normally talk to you, even for a frd he has known for a good few years (that is also my frd). I really dunno wht to do, I want him to be my boyfriend. Nobody has ever seen him being with anybody, he is always on his own, so I am pretty sure he is single and I think he kind of likes me maybe for now as a friend. Co for example last nite, we had drinks together with other few ppl and he sometimes looked at me even if I wasn't talking and everytime when I noticed that he was looking at me, he woudl look somewhere else... Can somoeone tell me what can I do???

Sorry I dun mean "make" him to be my boyfrd, if he doesnt like me at all. what I mean is if he likes me and I like him then being together would be natural, what I want is to find a way to put up together, you could say I kind of wanna chase it up... coz he is really very very shy...

To the OP,

What makes you think that he'll talk to you when you said he doesn't even start conversations with friends that he's had for years? Maybe he's alone because he wants to be alone? I don't know. I suspect no-one else here does either. The only sure-fire way to find out is to ask him. 'Cos lets face it, if you waited for him to pluck up the courage to ask you, you'd be waiting for ever.

What do you have to lose? If he says yes, great. If he says no, then the chances are that he won't tell anyone anyway so its not like you'll have to deal with embarassment.

well... he doesnt start off a conversation normally, but if you talk to him, he would talk to you. I kind of talk to him quite a lot and he can talk a lot if you start the conversation, that's why I said he is shy...

to erk, he doesnt goto LCC, and he is in his 3rd year, so I dun think you woul know him...
