No, but had a chat on Facebook soon after receiving them.

Pleasantly surprised. Got that weight off my chest.

Collect from school, reading the paper was a bit tricky

I`m glad I now know them now, all the stress is behind me.

It is funny I ended going up a grade in things I though I was less likely to go up in e.g. English, English Lit and not the things I was more boarderline in like History. Oh well, I`m pleased.

If you are continuing to further education, which subjects will you be studying? Maths with Stats, Economics, German, History, Further Maths outside of school, finish off French AS, and Italian AS. A lot, I know!
On a scale of 1 to 5, how nervous were you when opening your results? (1 being not at all, 5 being very nervous) I was at about 6,559 before opening my envelope, but then my favourite English teacher said 'congratulations are in order!' - at this point my nervousness vanished, and I hugged her and opened my results. :biggrin:

I was confident about the A*'s apart from both English grades, I genuinely would have been happy with two A's but hey ho! Very happy with that, I hoped for a minimum of 5 A*'s and no B's and achieved that. Bring on AS/A levels!

To any new Year 10s reading work hard for BOTH years of GCSEs, not just Year 11; in the end, not working hard enough on a piece of History coursework from two years ago caused me to miss my prediction.
