How do i become more trusting?

I never used to have a problem with trust, until someone i trusted screwed me over. Now with my bf i've always been a little wary, but i've just gotten worse and it's becoming a real issue -it's stressing him out and i know i'll end up pushing him away..but how do i become more trusting? i dont know what to do :confused:

First thing you have to ask yourself is "Do you trust any of the advise on this forum?".

Only then will you be able to figure this out.

On a more serious point, i think you where just unlucky with your bf - Not everyone is like that!

its just the 2 serious relationships ive had prior to this one they've really ****ed me over. i know its not the case for everyone.

I hardly trust anyone, apart from one or two friends and close family.

I'm interested in the replies to this thread because I have the same problem. I have to let my rational side talk over my jealous side and it's a conscious effort not to let it effect my relationships, but I am getting better at it; no one would think I was the 'jealous type' but it is something I struggle with as I'm insecure. But that's my problem and not theirs.
