An A = 4 points
B = 3 points
C = 2 points
D = 1 point
F = 0 points

Add up all your points and average. Voila, a GPA!

Can anyone explain to me how i can calculate my GPA.i have finished my A level and i was given a scholarship in US for engineering.i was told that my GPA must be around 3.2 or 4.0 and i don't knw if i am going to use my A level or GCSE to calculate it

You get 5 points if you got an A in an AP (Advanced Placement) course. AP classes are generally regarded as the equivalent to a university course, and if you pass the exam at the end of the year, you could get university credit.

But AP classes are not necessarily available at all schools.
