My brother? Drugs?

I think my brother is taking drugs. Well, actually he's my stepbrother and I know he's been smoking pot. Though, I don't know how much or if he's taking anything else. I live in another town but I go home to my parents on the weekends but he's not around, never.

I'm terrified, I don't want him to end up on the street but I don't know what to do or if I should do anything at all?

If its pot theres not that much reason to be concerned. It rarely leads to a life on the street, thats reserved for the harder drugs.

Ask him outright. Text/Email/Phone him. Talk to him, say you're worried.

Nothing to worry about! Lots of people smoke, or have smoked pot at some point in their life. He won't end up 'on the streets' though.

If it's only pot, then you have nothing to worry about. The fact that you have no evidence to suggest he's smoking loads of it or taking hard drugs means that you'll keep on worrying until you find out, so just ask him and put your mind to rest. :smile:

mate there is nothing to worry about if he is doing pot. Its concidered the same as alchol. It could be the case that his mates could go on to other things, ive seen it happen but it then is up to him whether he follows.

You could just suggest that pots ok but dont go on to chemicals as they are bad news and have a tendency to F*** up your life.

up to your brother what he takes, as along as he doesn't abuse them he'll be fine, whether it be coke or pills or pot. Crack and heroin are the scatty drugs.

The problem with that is E is class A and something like crystal meth is class B, when crystal meth is much worse, IMO, than E.

Yeah that is probably what he meant actually... Was just helping to point out that while E is class A, it isnt actually as bad as a lot of other drugs in that classification.

surely then it would be legal.. hmm..

although it isnt serious and is most probably only recreational use, not addiction which wud be different still wudnt end up on the streets tho
