Grade Boundaries

Does anyone know what were the grade boundaries for the IB subjects in the past exams??

I'm more interested to know about Chemistry HL, Math HL, Physics (SL & HL) and History (Paper 1 and 2).

Does anyone have any info on this?

I think that it depends from year from year depending on how good candidates solved the paper.

That's true, but I would like to have an idea of the percentage needed to get a 6 or 7 according to the results of May 05 or November 04 or May 04...

Exactly! That was last year though..
Let's hope the boundaries stay the same or get lower for May '06

History is awfully hard when it comes to essay and my teacher said that one of the examinators told him that in his history of examinating different papers there were mayby 10 people who managed to get a full mark for the essay, and this dude was old. So keep your hopes up, if you score 14 on all your essays, be sure u get a 7.
Now when I compare these scores to my results, I get pissed cause I was so close to score a 7 in history. Got 20 in P1 and 25 in P2, which are both on the boundary of 7. Also got 15 for my IA which is a medium 6. Screwed my P3, got only 31 which is a 5 and that ****ed my whole grade. But whatever :smile:

I leave it behind me :smile:

Good luck guys! Study hard and you will be rewarded.
My advice: read, read, read. Use your IA as part of your preparations to the exams and write hell lot of essays!
