Baywatch - Gladiators - Blind Date was my Saturday night

I know where I was most Saturday nights back before the days of pubs and clubs. When 10 was a grown-up-age and not a worrying number on my bank balance - I was a permanent fixture on the sofa in front of the TV to watch what is arguably the greatest televison line-up of all time. I have no shame in admitting that i spent the evening with Pam Anderson and Ulrika Johnson. Even Cilla Black provided some quality entertainment and education on relationships and dating. Yes I watched Baywatch - Gladiators and then Blind Date and I can look back on those quality programs and think what a shame it is for 8 yr olds today who do not have the chance in life that i have becuase they don't know the trials of being a life guard, the utter strength and determination it takes to be a gladiator, nor the importance of picking the right three questions to ask a potential date. So thank you British Television - much appreciated and much learned! Mwah darls.
