I just thought of something. If a company is large, then it would not be as flexable as a smaller one.. this is also the case if it specialises, then it won't be able to change it's products according to the market or new tastes.

I'm glad your thread is about companies and not something more sexual, congratulations! Specialisation is sometimes more advantageous to smaller companies, though depends on which industry

What you said before was right. My dads company for example started out just doing one thing. As times changed my grandfather realised to keep profitable he would have to diversify and now we make all sorts of things for anyone interested. We arent specialised, thats what makes us profitable. Becoming specilised can cause companies to fall very quickly if a makret collapses e.g. aerospace manufacturers.

Tell Stuart Pearce, Vinnie Jones and Roy Keane that they are pansies. See how far down the street you make it...

Football is the beautiful game, the universal game, it's a language!

Hmm, that wouldnt be anything to do with the fact that no southern public school couldnt go toe to toe with a northern one if it wanted to. Well when I say northern I mean yorkshire and Lancashire.

Apparently. He is vastly overrated on a rugby pitch. He doesnt even deserve to lace some rugby league players in Australia's boots.

im sure if we forgot we had a reputation to uphold, and actually tried our hands at rugby, we'd beat any northern school!! but, you see, we don't play rugby - we've got wincofo.
