see a doctor tomorrow morning or if it gets bad go to A & E tonight. it might just be psychological. sometimes when i eat out of date stuff i think that i feel ill and then after a bit realise that i dont. most dates are just put on things to cover the shops' arses, although out of date beef might not be the best idea.

was the out of date meat in the freezer? if it was it will be fine, or if it has been in the freezer then in the fridge a day or 2 to defrost

The beef may have given you an upset stomache if it was off, but I wouldn't have thought it would be; eating rotten meat is definitely not good for you, so retailers would give themselves more than two days of security.

It definitely isn't food poisoning though, that takes much longer than a couple of hours to develop, so it's not as serious as that. With a bit of luck (doesn't sound so lucky right now I guess!) you'll throw it all up tonight and be fine in the morning, or at the latest tuesday.

You may also want to quiz your dad on using out of date meat! Is anyone else who ate it ill?

It could be food poisoning, you can feel ill just a few hours after eating whatever has caused it! My brother ate an out of date scotch egg at a party and then had to leave early with what turned out to be salmonella.
Yeah...I read that food poisoning takes 2-5 hours to be noticed.
When I had food poisoning it took about 24 hours to show itself... when it did I couldn't stop throwing up and had diahrea (I know that isn't spelt right!) for about 12 hours after. I honestly wanted to just have someone kill me.

If you've got food poisoning, then you need to drink a hell of a lot of water from now until you're ready to eat something and then eat something like dry toast, nothing to upset your stomach again. Eat nothing until you're ready to.

It might be an idea to go to the doctor to get checked out, that way if it's so bad that you miss your exam, you can get a doctor's note and have mitigating circumstances for your absense.

Good luck!
Drink a lot of water and stay in bed.

If it's true food poisoning you'll be too weak to go much further than your bed anyway....

Get better soon.

Urgh, I had an undercooked gammon steak once and I was soooo ill. I couldn't even reach out of my bed to get my glass of water! Drink lots of water, don't get out of bed until you feel ready!
