My feet (this is gross)

Okay this is a bit sick, I warn you before reading it!

I got something wrong with my feet. Basically around the toes it looks like it's rotting. It's moved from the little toe to the next one, around where it's joined to the foot it's just raw flesh but I can't feel any pain. I can pull skin off without feeling it. Is this athlete's foot? Or is it something more serious? The skin around it is all peeling away as well, as well as the skin on my heel, in quite big chunks. It is like the skin is dying, but I do feel some pain if I go too deep. Any idea?

Just a few words - GO TO THE DOCTOR! They'll be able to give you a far more accurate idea of what it is then anyone on TSR.

If you can't feel any pain, then maybe you have leprosy (joking) or you've come down with trenchfoot? :p:

Anyhows, I hope you get it sorted soon.

Jesus Christ. Go to the doctor pronto. Sounds a bit like trench foot/jungle rot which often leads to amputation. At this point you may need to crawl to the doctor or get someone to wheel you because by the sound of things you don't have much of your feet left.

What the hell did you ask us for btw?

Yeah, sounds like a case for the doctor at the very least! Get there QUICK!

Open the yellow pages, look under Chiropodist!!! Explain it to him/her - they are used to problems like you have described. If it does turn out to be something more serious, then he/she will either tell you to go to a doctor or will give you a more direct route into getting it solved like giving you the number of a specialist. Just don't panic though, it looks worse than it is I'm sure!

:nurse: No offence dude but this is just a bit rank! Why oh why did you not just go to the doctor?

EWWWWW lol Go to a chiropodist.
Make sure you wear clean cotton socks and shoes that your feet can breath in

Also remember that the Chiropodist WILL have seen worse!!

Gosh what a mature response.
So necessary as well. This isn't the pisstake section of the forum funnily enough.
Thread-starter- don't worry, it sounds like athlete's foot. I'm assuming you've made progress in contacting the doctor.

The toe problem sounds like athlete's foot. Buy a tube of cream for it and follow the instructions, and it should be gone in a fortnight.

If the skin on the heel is peeling off in the same way at the skin between your toes then you have A Problem. Hie ye to a doctor. If it's just large dry flakes of skin that look a bit like scales then you're suffering from the aftermath of some serious wear-and-tear on your heels: the upper layers of skin have died off, been compacted and are taking a while to shed. Wearing ill-fitting shoes is the favourite reason. It takes a while to go - I think five months is my record, thanks to a badly fitting pair of walking boots.

I seriously doubt the earlier suggestion that the problem is trenchfoot, since I refuse to believe that the Anonymous sufferer wears sodden footwear all day and night.
