Old Trafford, Britannia Stadium and Pride Park all have fantastic atmospheres. Haven't been to a stadium I hate.

Pride Park? You are joking right?

As a regular steward at Pride Park I'm afraid I'll have to call you out on that.

So poor are Derby fans fans that it has become a bit of a thing for away fans to actually sing a few songs for them.

Of the three main teams in the East Midlands only Leicester have fairly consistent fans, with Derby and Forest being very fickle.

And no, I don't support any of the East Midlands teams.

And I'm going to have to disagree with you. When I do go, the atmosphere has always been fantastic, especially on rival games, and when I don't go to home games, I can hear the fans from my house which is a fair distance away. This season especially with a 4-win streak on the go

Best I've been to with the Villa is Fulham, wonderful day out, nice part of town and a lovely grand old stadium. Best non-league I've been to with the Boro' is probably Hinckley, cos their food is just immense. Rushden & Diamonds was like going to a different planet at the time they were still non-league.

Worst, I would probably say Cov. It is the definition of a soulless bowl, but what makes it worse, is that it isn't even their soulless bowl. I really enjoy going to any away grounds really though, just for the trip and the banter

I have been to very few but

Best: Emirates
Worst: White Hart Lane football ground - completely disgusting needs a complete renovation

LOL @ the negs.

I meant because i WORKED there, I know a thing or two about the conditions of the grounds. Rats.

That's all.
Best: Old Trafford, GREAT ground, had top seats too.

Worst: Wembley, I know that sounds stupid but I was just so disappointed. Just lifeless and grey. The real worst though, I must second Kenilworth Road!

Best: Allianz arena. Despite being a modern stadium it has a very distinctive feel to it, with 3 tiers, a terrace area, seats close to the pitch, and it's unique facade illuminating.

Worst: Emirates. Just another symmetrical modern stadium that has no unique features whatsoever, you could mistake it for benefica's stadium when you're inside it.. Sure, it's great from a functional point of view. But the complete oppossite to Highbury Stadium in terms of character.

Ah, so much hate for Kenilworth Road! Tbf, I've walked past the away entrances - they seem so out of place in the middle of some houses and apparently you get no leg room.

Best: Not been to many but Wembley, City of Manchester and Charlton are the better ones I've been to.

Worst: Corby Town. There is a running track and a fence if you wish to stand next to the pitch but if you want to sit in the stands it seems so far away from the pitch.

Best - The Emirates was pretty special, padded seats. Plus I saw Brazil-Argentina so the atmosphere was awesome. I think the best has to be the Camp Nou though.

Worst - I hate hate HATE Selhurst Park. The Withdean is crap too.

Ooh do you know what fans want!

The amount of people going for the Emirates in the 'best' category is truly depressing, but an unsurprising indictment.

to those saying the DW... it is a nice stadium but I do agree it is a pretty crap atmosphere on a matchday but I've been to the rugby there a few times and it is always packed out and all the fans are singing... it's a pretty special stadium on a rugby matchday - it's a shame the people of Wigan don't love football as much.

Best - Anfield was pretty special.

Worst - Edgeley Park was pretty grim.

WindsorPark in Belfast is the worst stadium on the planet ^_^ But in seriousness Camp Nou.

Fixed!

Anyway, The Nou Camp was something special when I went there. Gotta love Celtic park especially on a big European night

doesn't Brentfords stadium have a pub on each corner of the ground?

No doubt if I ever visit, it will become my favourite.

Hopefully I'll be going to the Brentford-Stevenage game this season with my Brentford fanatic uncle (if he isn't working at the time).

If I go I'll let you know as I'm quite interested to find out myself!

Surprised no one has listed Ewood park under worst, place is a absolute dump. Also the Dell was pretty horrible, one set of toilets for a whole stand.

As for the best, I guess I'd put St James, Old Trafford and The Millenium stadium up there.

Perhaps because it's fans rating football grounds and working there you're not going to be rating the seat, atmosphere or view from the away end. You might just not give a **** about how many fans sing or anything like that, something rather fundamental to football fans.

But of course you're going to say the Emirates, it's clean and brand spanking new and you didn't actually watch any football there. Good job you didn't, it's not called the new Library for nothing.

I've been to Wembley and it's nice, roomy and all that, but I'd take the Lane any day. I can actually support my team without getting funny looks.

Best: Villa Park and Craven Cottage were my favourites, great grounds. I suppose Wembley and the Millenium have to be included because they look so impressive.

Worst: Genuinely can't name one. Ninian Park is a dump but I loved the place, great atmosphere. Ohh actually I've seen Wales at the Cardiff City stadium, now that is a terrible stadium. Absolutely soulless and generic, really didn't like the place. Plus it's one tier the whole way around.

Best - Celtic Park. Granted it might look a bit iffy and the surrounding area isn't great (though the new arena across the road is impressive), but on a European night under the lights or at any game against Rangers there's really nothing like it.

Worst - Hampden. OK, it's the home of Scottish football. Still, the seats behind the goal are miles away from the pitch - a problem they didn't bother their arse to remedy when they redeveloped it in the nineties.
Emirates pretty much epitomises crap modern stadiums with no life or character.

Is there actually any features inside the emirates that have reference to Arsenal? I don't think there's any. It's like a neutral venue.
