Personal Statement for a course transfer.

I'm writing a personal statement for a hopeful course transfer but I don't know where to start. I know that I have to say why I want to do this course, but do I mention transferring and that I didn't like my current course etc? Really stuck. Thanks!

What are the two courses and universities you are transferring between?

I think you apply through UCAS but I wouldn't mention the transfer on your personal statement, I would write an email to the uni's in regards to that, and keep your personal statement about your suitability to the course.

It's within a uni for the second year of a course so they know anyway..

I would keep negatives to a minimum, perhaps allude to what didn't work out for you at your first uni. It's also very important to let them know why you've had a change of heart! Is it a substantially different course?
