Activating a Natwest card
OK, I got a new card through for my current account, and I was just wonderingh how I'd activate it. I have an online account, but it ain't letting me activate it..... 
Did it not come with a sticker on it asking you to call up/go online and activate it?
You can go into the branch and do it there and then.

Eat it, because you should have gone with a different bank? 
I dunno, NatWest randomly cancelled my card to send me a new chip and pin one but neglected to tell me, so my card just stopped working and I never received the new card because it got lost in the post. Typical.

HSBC did the same to me.
Except they never bothered to post my card. When I went into the Croydon branch to find out what was going on, they gave me the phone to ring my local branch where I was told that they had my card, and that they never sent me the letter telling me that it was going to be cancelled and that I should pick up my card from the branch.
Hmm...
I just went to check my account and it worked without activation!
