Age difference

There have been lots of post about dating older people and what is the oldest guy/girl you would date but i'm curious to know how young a person would go. I know lots of people who won;t date someone younger than them but there must be some people who are happy to go younger if there are people on this site worrying about their older partners. My boyf is 5 years older than me but I doubt i would get serious with anyone more than a year or two younger than me, i don't know why its different for older or younger, i just think at the age i am it would feel wierd going out with a guy that much younger than me, that will probably change as i get older, but i dunno.

My ex is about a year older than me but that's not much of an issue really. In fact my two previous relationships were with girls older than me.

I d date somebody of any age but for a serious relationship it has to be between 6 years +-... But In the end it just comes down to the individual, I dont think you could make a general rule!?

I had a boyfriend who was a year younger than me (I was 16 and he was 15) but it didn't work out - our mental ages were just too different!

Ben's nearly 2 years younger than me, but we don't give a toss. I'm more domestic but that's as far as it goes really, it means I have to cook for him more :p:

hmm.. i wouldn't go out with anyone younger than me.. a friend did that in high school and was called a cradle snatcher and such, despite it just being a year different... (year 11 and year 10). anyway, i would just find it weird to be the older one.. i prefer having a boyfriend who is older, because not only can he help me with the eductcational system (ha) but it just feels better him being older. he is two and a half years older..

I was seeing a guy in the year below me, but there was only 6 months difference in age between us. It didn't really seem to matter! I'm not really one for older guys, the oldest I would go is prob 22/23?

Im 19 (nearly 20) and probably would go as young as 15 to be honest, watch the ewwws come in again lol

Depends on your intentions towards them. If you lack negative intent then not something to 'eww' or 'err' at =0)

Of course girls mature faster than boys (mostly) - so that may well have something to do with age differences. It is just a number really.

Yeh i know its just a while ago i posted something about this rather young girl i had feelings for and got a LOT of negative replies about it but anyway. My intentions towards a girl who was 15 would be the same as someone my age including sexual to be honest.

It would be against the law, but as probably quite a few 15 year old girls are sexually active I'm not gonna say it's wrong because it's all about individual choice on the girls part.
