My grades were a spectacular fail- and what made it even worse is, when the results came out we had family friends visiting us from england and they have freaky genius kids my age
I wanted to dig a hole in the ground and just bury my head :rolleyes:

though I did have extenuating circumstances so my parents weren't too mad ( my school was shut down from like january till mid-april)

AS grades: B , E , E ( Maths , biology, chemistry )
AS retake modules and target grades: Dropped chemistry, retaking biology, and M1 in January and taking psychology a level , as in january a2 in june
AS retake received grades: still haven't sat the exams!
A2 Predictions: Maths [A] biology psychology (AS + A2 )
A2 Personal happy with grades: Maths biology psychology
A2 personal 'dream' target: Maths [ A*] biology [A] psychology [A] - god, i think i'd faint if i got those grades, they seem so unachievable :colondollar:

Basically all this seems a bit unrealisitc. but i really wanna do medicine, which is why i've even decided not to apply this year. Anybody got any motivation to give me? :colondollar:

Haha, i wanted to do something biology-wise at Uni when i first started sixth form..i got an E at AS in bio, fail! So i applied for criminology, but then resat some bio modules and got U's up to C's etc so changed from Criminology back to Biomedical science.
The E really did give me a kick up the ass though, realised i actually had to work to get the grades unlike GCSE. The fact my friend dropped Bio as well might have helped..
Anyways i got into Uni to do biomedical science this year, chuffed :biggrin:

I am exactly in the same situation and I desperately want to do biomedical science..you are my inspiration :biggrin:

A2 is going alright, but there is soo much work!! Cant believe I ever complain about AS workload lol

If you improve your exam grades to atleast solid Bs, you should be able to do it even without resitting the ISA. I got an E in my ISA but got a B in Unit 1 & a very high C in Unit 2 and got a solid C. Not happy with mine but you should definitley be able to improve :smile:
