depressed after orgasm
after i ejaculate i feel really down. i enjoy sex with my girlfriend very much so its not that.i looked it up and its called 'post coital tristesse' does anyone else have this, what can i do ??..internet doesnt seem to be doing much but give me definitions
Are you sure you feel really depressed, or just a bit down? And is it just for a minute or two? Because there's always a low after a high.

Like I said, there's ALWAYS a low after a high. Any sort of high. Think of it as a sex hangover.
I know the feeling, but it doesn't always occur. In my case its seems situation dependant.
When it does occur, it either hits me as a general (but slight and short lived) depression or an almost guilt like feeling.

What if you do hold your girlfriend tightly? surely that's enough to keep you above the surface and glad?
When "in love" it hasn't occur. Only with an ex (knowing things wouldn't be fixed in the morning) or on dodgy ground such as with a friend (**** should I have just done that) etc...

Contraception was used (and there are no mini-me's running around). Realisation was the conclusion I had come to. I am still speaking to/am very good friends with all those concerned, so no real harm came.
