I want to lose some more weight, ideally get down to 8 stone, however I don;t seem to be able to shift those last 10 lbs. Is there any specific food group that I should concentrate on or avoid in order to ditch the last of the weight?
Personally, I think 8 stone is a bit too light at 5'10.
I feel really big though, and being surrounded by skinny beautiful girls all day long isn't exactly helpful! My BMI at the moment is 17.5, is that too low?

you dont need to lose anymore weight, your fine as it is. but if you really want to its best to simply eat less calories, mainly from fat and carbs and just do little things to speed up your metabolism. losing those last few pounds is always the hardest.

17.5 is too low as it is, i dont mean to be judgemental but it seems like your verging on anorexic, ideally your bmi should be between 18.5 and 25.
im guessing the only reason you dont fit into size 10 is either because of your height, or you have a bigger bone structure, which no amount of dieting would help.

your weight loss has "plateaued", happens to everyone when they are trying to lose weight. just continue on your current diet (ie clean eating and cardio) and you will eventually drop again, sometimes you can have a constant weight for upwards of a month.
and your weight does seem light for your height, but then again it does vary from person to person. i hover around 18.2 BMI but I am but no means underweight, even though I am light in kg for my height.

A month? That's ages. I suppose I'd better drink more water, and hope my appetite doesn't return

yeah it is a long time, and its a big obstacle for a lot of people trying to lose weight, but stick with it and you will drop again. and it wont necassarily be 1 month, could be a matter of a week or two, once again it varies.
about you being light, whatever you do dont starve yourself - you want to target fat rather than bones and muscles too - its unhealthy. You should be eating slightly less than your "recommended" for your sex/activity level, and eating as "clean", i.e. healthy, as you can.
