Random present for my awesome BF

I wanna get something kool but random for my BF, unfortunately Chrissy is over, his birthday is long gone and I've already plans for Valentines Day.

He's 26/27 and likes fishing, and doing outdoorsy activities. Oh yeah and he does gardening :biggrin:

And some sci-fi themed games *I think*

A tree?

Buy him flowers. just a big bunch of flowers, for no apparent reason.
It'll go down a treat, they're easy to get hold of, and you can get really nice bunches for around a tenner.

A fishing rod?!

A tree?

Yeah those Bonsai trees are quite cool, you trim the roots and keep it in a really shallow bit of water and they last years and years without growing into a full on tree. I like them anyway, got my boyfriend one for Christmas.

My mates GF bought him a fish - not like a Cod from the chippy, I mean a proper tropical fish, tank, all the kit, the full works! I thought that was really cool, I would love a present like that!

Get him a surfboard (if you live by the sea) - I'm assuming the weather in Oz is a thousand times better than the spring chill in England. :smile:

i gave up on random presents a long time ago.. well.. after my boyfriend didn't get me a christmas present because we were 'on a break'... idiot.

get him a very large pack of condoms, with like.. space vehicles and fish on 'em.

I got a girl a kite for Christmas and she likes it (I think)... that was a last-minute gift tho!

Actually I hope he doesn't think this is a guilt thing, because I recently got selected to enter a nation wide modelling competition for a certain magazine (it's a bit like FHM but Australian and more sports orientated), and am going up to Sydney (I'm @ Canberra, 4 hours away) today for the shoot! :smile:

Out of around 200 models was selected as one of the top 8, but instead of being impressed he's a bit cranky :// :frown:

I know I gotta get going coz I'm meant to be on the coach in half an hour, so I might get him something from Sydney.

That won't be too hard, to get him something then that's not sold in the shopping deprived 'town' city I live at for work and uni :p:
