Best Language for a Career in Fashion?

Hey, I'm really interested in a career in fashion journalism and I was wondering what the best language would be to learn in order to better my chances? I was thinking either French, Italian or Spanish - thought Italian might be best because Milan is the fashion capital of the world, but then more people speak French and Spanish. Any suggestions?

I think French, because PAris is also central to the fashion industry, however a basic grounding in Spanish and Italian wouldn't hurt either.

i think learning all three would be highly beneficial.

I would say learn whichever you're particularly interested in, although I might err more towards French.

What I'm mainly replying for is - someone else from the Isle of man!

I say you take courses in French and Italian, and leave the spanish alone, just think of all the brands made in ITaly & france

Armani
Gucci
Prada
Cavalli
D&G
Valentino
Chanel
YSL
Dior
Louis Vuitton
Hermés

etc etc etc so if you will attend the fashion shows and interview the designers, you'll have to learn Italian and French before all.
