Is testicle swelling/soreness an MMR side effect?

I had the MMR vaccine a week ago - I wasn't sure that I'd had it when I was young, so my uni nurse said I should go for another. Since about then one of my testicles has been rather sore and quite significantly swollen (but the other one's fine). Does anyone know if testicle swelling is a normal MMR side effect, or is it worth going to the doctor about it?

There's a good chance that the MMR is the cause but it really is the kind of thing you should see a doctor about. Even if it is just a side-effect of MMR the doctor will probably be able to give you a prescription to reduce the swelling.
