I've applied for english and american studies joint honours and have offers from nottingham and sussex for AAB

which other unis have you applied to?
The awkward moment when Lincoln give you an offer and a month later tell you they are dropping the course :|
Have to choose somewhere else now! Thinking sussex or winchester..

Yeah I agree about people not knowing what american studies is, they don't know and then judge it as soft, but when I've explained it most people say how good it sounds :P!
I've applied to Warwick UEA Sussex Birmingham and Nottingham and got all offers now

I'm guessing it's about America, which you could learn in your spare time?

Well duh its about america... but its politics, culture, literature and history of the Americas, either north south or canada depending on the university, and was recently featured in the Gaurdian as a valuable degree teaching skills valued highly by employeres and allowing entry to many careers. But if you don't understand don't worry its not for everybody. :borat:
