    Hi
    I want to go to Oxbridge and i was just wondering whether those of u who gpt in could say what grades u got and what u r reading at uni....also if u did any extra stuff like useful work experience or did amazing in BMO etc.

    I didn't think many people did IGCEs! We did for sciences maths and english language (aparantly the nearest other centre for IGCSE english was Dartmoor prison :eek: ). The've now stoped doing it for the sciences (grades were too low...). Where are you at school?

    Wow, all of the above are fantastic grades! I got nothing of the sort. 5 As and 5Bs at GCSEs. Although, i've been predicted 4 A's for a level and i've been offered a place at Homerton, Cambridge to read English and Education studies. So, if you don't/haven't got 8A* for GCSEs and 4 A's at a level don't feel as though it's the end of the world. Anything is possible and it certainly doesn't hurt to apply to Oxbride if it's where you think you'd like to go! The interview is the single most important part of the process. The interviewer is dealing with atleast 20 other exceptional candidates and sometimes it is just a case of how much they like, and are impressed by you.
