Plug your blog here!

Admittedly this is a thread to shamelessly plug my own blog, but hey! this is the creative corner why not all share blogs and enjoy eachothers work and such!

Heres mine http://betacritique.blogspot.com/ I review films, games and album releases both old and new and whatever people want to read really, with my own personal touch to them. I try not to keep them too ridgid and formal as i'm doing this for my own enjoyment as perhaps a bit to add to my journalism portfolio! I've only had my blog up for a month now and i bloody love it! I'm open to suggestions and feedback!

Post your blogs and i'll be happy to have a read through and enjoy them!

Why turn down a chance to shamelessly plug my blog eh!

http://pitfallsontheroadtoadulthood.blogspot.com

It's basically a blog for all the odd things that happen in my life. It's pretty personal and I'm trying to document my journey as I seek to grow up and become a mature adult.

I'll give both your blogs a looksie when I finish watching Ninja Cheerleaders!

Also I have a YouTube channel: http://youtube.com/AlexVlogsHisLife

Going to jump on the bandwagon here.

My blog will hopefully be a student/book review type thing. It can be found here: http://poeinthetrunk.wordpress.com/
http://thebarefootbear.blogspot.com/ - I recently started it, it's a cooking blog
My blog is finance/macro-economics related.

The reason I decided to make my blog is to further my knowledge. Its easy to read things and understand them, but much harder to put into your own words.

I try to make the content relevant to current issues, whilst at the same time trying to ensure my articles thought provoking.

Here it is... http://thefinancesensei.blogspot.com/

This could be interesting.

Promoting is definetly the hardest part. As I don't want to share my blog with immediete friends and family, I haven't posted it on Facebook yet. Outside of posting my blog on Twitter, putting the link in my sig on the couple of forums I post on and joining Bloggers.com, I honestly can't think of any other way of promoting my blog on the cheap.
What a good idea for a thread! I've started a blog but am yet to publicise it or anything. Its just a fun thing for me to do.

The blog is about arts and culture in London and Seville since I live in both cities and have am interested in going to exhibitions etc. (and will soon be living with an artist).

Its new and still in beta mode pretty much but have a look. I'm looking forward to looking at other people's on here.

Hey there, well at the minute, my blog is used for me to talk about the Photoshop tutorials I make, and some of the other stuff I make in Photoshop, as well as my YouTube channel which is Photoshop related. Though I hope in a few weeks I will be able to broaden it out a bit, I want to eventually have a gaming section, Photoshop section, software section and personal section. So like 4 blogs in one.

But first I would like to try and establish the Photoshop blog, as I think it's best to concentrate on one particular niche as I'm just starting out. To broaden my horizons I am using Blogger & WordPress simultaneously. You can check either of them out, the links are:

WordPress: http://briantambourini.wordpress.com

I will also check your blog out soon
Hi. I just blog about some random stuff. It's a bit of a general blog, but I try to keep it interesting enough. It's got stuff about music, fashion, beauty, but I think once I get a better camera I can improve the content a bit. The link's in my sig, but just incase anyone can't see it for some reason, it's: www.bytoks.blogspot.com

I will check out everyone else blogs in here too

I'm tempted to get WordPress, but how easy is it to use?

Same here, none of my friends or family are that interested in Photoshop, so my blog would be useless to them, and other than posting on forums and my twitter/youtube channel. I have no way of promoting it, I think sharing links with each other would be a nice way to build up partnerships with fellow bloggers, which in turn could get everyone more views and followers.

I guess that could work decent enough with a bit of thought.
Hey guys, I have pretty much the same thing, except my Blog is "advertisied" in my signature, I'll promise to visit all of your blogs and follow (if they're on Blogger, which is the account type I have) if you look at mine!

I do image editing & random posts

What is guest blogging?
Guest blogging, is where you write an article for another website.

You write the article submit it as a guest post and in return they give you a link back.

If you select the right one you could find they get a shed load of visits and those visits will see your article and click through to you.

Then if they like your blog they will come back straight to you. Its a way of building a fan base for your blog.

I dont want to go into to much detail but you could signup to mail chimp, which allows you to collect email address with a plug and play signup form.

You could then send out an email once a week of your latest blog posts (mail chimp also gives you 10,000 free email sends a month)

This is an example of a website which takes 'guest posts' - backpagefootball[dot]com/write-for-us/

Otherwise you could link to each other using a 'blogroll'
