I'd say about half the girls in a club are open to being pulled...

PS, why on earth is this posted anonymously?? I call shennanigans!

Depends where you live.

Not nearly as great as the percentage of single guys. Depends, also, how you define 'looking'. Women don't have to look, as such; even the, shall we say, less attractive ones will have been hit on, by the end of the night. I only wish so many guys weren't so damned lecherous and assertive; really screws it up for those of us who aren't the most confident at approaching women (i.e. because, the more assertive guys are, the less girls have to be, in this respect, and hence, if you can't approach, you don't get).

Amen brother.
Clubs suck.

Especially when you've got a special somebody going to a club and you aren't there and you know what lots of lads are like.. Aaah!
There's a fine line between being drunk suave and being drunk obnoxious. Unfortunately it's hard to stay on the good side.

There there *pats on back*

Do what my girlfriend did; make a badge saying 'I have a lovely girlfriend please go away' I actually wore it clubbing as well! (change genders obviously)
Unfortunately it had the opposite effect

If she is special, and i'm sure she is, then you have nothing to worry about because she'll be thinking of you all night, not any other guy.
I doubt a lot of girls go out just to go on the pull to be honest. I never have, even if I want a boyfriend, purely because most of the guys willing to talk to you in clubs are in oneframe of mind; to have sex.

When I met this guy in a club once, he started talking to me and to be polite I spoke to him, but really fell for him after this. Girls don't generally go on the pull, but if it happens, it happens.

Ah.. unlucky!

Yeah, that's an idea! It's stupid - just get worried about her, even though I absolutely know she'd not do anything silly. I just worry about some stupid drunken idiot trying it on etc.. Such the worrier really me! :frown:

Lol. Yes, alcohol: God's gift to shy men (or 'shy in terms of approaching women', in my case). Alas, despite being of a reasonable confidence, generally, I seem to have to be more than a little drunk, to approach women. In fact, the point of inebriation, at which my confidence levels reach those required, comes after the point at which certain other factors fall short (i.e. the ability to keep from rolling my eyes, the ability to stop repeating myself, the ability to talk clearly). Actually, I'm exaggerating, slightly, but you get the picture; a certain level of drunkenness and above does little to impress a woman (however, the chances of pulling are still probably higher, at this level, then at a level at which you cannot approach women).

As much as I don't like near generalisations being made against blokes, I'm thinking that this one is not totally unfounded. And it's this realisation that women make, that is annoying, when you're a bloke that's not actually like that; unsurprisingly, you stand a good chance of being tarred with the same brush. I actually always go out with the aim of pulling, with this being the main reason for going (although, getting a bit pissed and chatting to random people (even if usually blokes) is mildly enjoyably, any way), although I, personally, don't really care about whether or not I get 'laid'; I'd much rather have someone who I do nothing but hug all night, who, the next day, likes me and wants to see me again, than someone who wants to screw all night, but nothing more. Clubbing just seems to represent the best chance of getting a girlfriend, somehow; I've seldom managed it by any other means. It doesn't help that so many clubs seem like cockfests. The odds are stacked against you, as a guy, and most of the guys in there seem to be very active in stalking their 'prey'; a competitive environment, no less. For a woman to pull is considerably easier, than for a man to do so; being perved over must be annoying, but there's another side to the coin that some guys experience. I live in hope.....
Whatever happened to getting to know people before making your move these days? Ahhh - people who go to clubs to just to 'pull' - sickening!

yeah i agree with all that

i noticed this whole perving over girls thing when in glasgow streets mostly by young men in nil to semi skilled employment on lunch breaks. I cant see how that can make life much fun. Makes me glad i am male i must say. Not that if i was female i would be anything like good looking. i will shut up now

I goto clubs to drink and dance with my friends and meet new ppl. I mean, I don't think that many girls go JUST to pull but then once you're drunk everything happens much easier right?

If she loves you no amount of alcohol and nothing any drunken idiot can do will make her do anything that would hurt you. Remember that, bc my ex didn't and we ended up breaking up over it :frown:
