Keep 'em.

It's nice to know that someone loved you that much once. If he turned out to be a bastard, I probably would have binned them. But he's not, so they are nice memories. And yes, I still look at them from time to time. No point keeping them otherwise.
So no one else gets letters, cards and gifts?

Lol I would say keep them for the same reason as Susie (is your real name katie?) says, generally the good memories they bring will outweigh the bad.

Yeah, my name's Katie.

I still speak to this guy several times a week and we split up 18 months ago, so I'd say the good memories definitely outweigh the bad.

In a brown box, sellotaped up, in the attic. Probably won't look at them again (or not for a very long time) but they're all there.

I've ripped things up in mad fits before after things ended and regretted it so this is why I've taken this route now
Leave them around for new girlfriends to find and bust your chops over!
Well, crepes.

All a little too late now... but I did look at some and think, oooh, I remember that... hmm, oooh... errr. Hohum. *bin*

Hmm, maybe binning was the right move then.
yes, i keep them, all cards and presents, sometimes if I dont like some present I can give it to someone I know for sure would liek to have it  and I like to look at my cards sometimes, but it happens just when I clean my table from all useless papers, like 1 time in 6 monthes or smth liek that.
(Drogue - you'll probably be shocked to hear I recently wiped out all my sugarcubes too)

I always kept everything until very recently. Not that I ever looked at any of it it was just easier to keep it in a box under my bed in case I felt like it one day. I moved house pretty recently and when I got back from uni there were so many boxes I couldn't move my uni stuff into my room! So one of the things I did was to throw away literally everything. - even stuffed toys went to jumble sales etc. I was proud
Return the gifts if he'll have them, keep the cards etc. I only return gifts because I feel he bought them for me when we meant something to each other and and I don't feel right keeping them. That's a personal thing though.

The cards are fun to look over every now and then - especially to restore your faith in mankind after the next messy breakup lol
Yeah this is weird.. I just found some this morning in this box in my room. 3 years on I don't really want to throw them away. Then again I dont really have any desire to look at them either..

Keep it in a box, tape it up and whack it under the bed. Then, one day in the not too distant future when I want to start a fire (in a hearth, mind you), I have assorted kindling AND knicknacks I can flog on Ebay!! Yeah!!
I shredded mine.
It felt amazing to shred old letters, cards and photos.

They all get binned. I move around so often and I don't have a permanent room anywhere so it makes sense not to have any excess baggage. I keep all the ones from my current boyfriend though. For a while I was even keeping all the texts, but when it got up to 200 I had to start letting them go :frown:

I've kept mine, I have ripped some up when I was angry, wish I hadn't. So I only have one left.

It's stuck in the back of my scrap book, I never would forget him, just incase I did I've written names, DOB's...Along with all my best schoolfriends etc.
