Best way

If a girl fancies your boyfriend, what's the best way of making sure she isn't going to make any moves on him and deterring her from even thinking about it? This question has a twist: it can't result in the girl trying to fight with (physically, or just shouting at) the girlfriend. Being friends isn't an option, the girl is question won't speak to the boy's girlfriend.

Thanks guys, my friend will appreciate less confrontational ideas than my own!

Nothing you can do. Just hope ya boyf aint stupid enough to fancy her an do summit with her. Depends on how much u trust ya boyf. Talk to him about it....u gotta be open about these things.

refer to the "bad" thread in general discussion. It is clear that the girl who fanices your boyfriend is a bad person. Therefore she should be tourtued and killed. End of.

Lol thanks. I don't know the boyfriend (it's not my bf!), he seems trustworthy enough. Will have a look at that thread to supplement my "advice"

You will probably get confused, i dont even know whats going on there now :s-smilie:

Well, you can't control the way someone else behaves. There's not really much your friend can do except trust her boyfriend enough to not cheat.
hi uys im really sorry for interrupting but can anyone tell me how to start a new thread? thx xx

tell her that he is gay.. and uh.. she is really a man. ha.

no ok, she should talk to her boyfriend about it. if it is true, he won't want anyone else, therefore won't bother with any girl who tries to make a pass at him.

Click 'New thread' at the start of the board - big blue button.

Why don't you do what the girl in 'Cinderella Story' did and put on a play in front of the whole school in which she exposes the girl?

*Wait, at the end of that film, the other girl gets the guy. Hmmm i really didn't think this through...

If someones gonna cheat they're gonna cheat.

Personally I think by turning someone into a forbidden fruit you're more likely to want them. do nothing, let her continue making a fool out of herself. Jealousy/posessiveness isnt attractive.
just one though I get in my mind if there would be any other girl around my Bf - JUST KILL HER!!!! well, I am sure it is impossible, all you can do is nth but your BF can do smth that will help - just ignore, IGNORE IGNORE HER AND AGAIAN IGNORE..in the end she will be just tired of it and will give up...oh and so she wont do any movies, it depend just on your BF, she will do her move just if he gives her hope!!!

If your boyfriend loves you he won't be interested in this girl so just leave it.

This does smack of insecurity. There will always be people who take a liking to people's boyfriends/girlfriends and we can't keep tabs on them all. That's why we have to trust our partners. Is your friend a slightly insecure person? I mean, even if the girl in question had announced, "I like your boyfriend and I'm going to steal him from you," I wouldn't be too impressed if my girlfriend didn't trust me enough to go and warn her off behind my back and would only push me away from my girlfriend. Surely the trust built up between her and her boyfriend is too important to just throw away? The real person she needs to talk to if she feels threatened is her boyfriend, who if he's worth his salt, will reassure her as long as the emphasis is placed, not on her fear her boyfriend will cheat, but more warning him about the stuff this girl has said. Don't go behind his back...

In general: Try to be flattered I guess. Smile smugly at the girl, in the comfortable confidence that it's you he wants at not her. Draping herself all over him looks desperate, I agree. If anything be the opposite, with the occasional loving look? Though I guess the looks wouldn't be that genuine if you were actually thinking 'ha, take that bitch!'.

If she persists, the only way is to get the friend to tell her boyfriend to make it reeeally obvious he's not interested. There's no point in the insecurity if she trusts him, but then who wouldn't be insecure if another girl seemed set on getting their boyfriend?

FireBird hasn't posted in this thread for a while, maybe she's crying with the guilt that she has just murdered her friend.

Bit over the top FireBird!
