Chubby?

Hey, if had weight issues since i was very young, but whatever happens i still in the back of my mind think im chubby, I know im not fat, but i know i could be skinnier. Friends and family would obviously never tell me if im chubby, and always say im thin, but its hard to believe them when you know thats what they are supposed to say. Recently i came back from holiday and the first thing my best friends mum said was "ooo you've put on weight" :frown: .
So just by looking at my weight, and height, could you definatly say wether a person was chubby or not? I know im probably going to get neg repped for this thread, but i'm not taking the piss i just would like an answer. Im 44kg and 5"4.5, am i chubby? I dont have time for any exercise, and no matter how hard i try i have absolutly no will power when it comes to food. Thank you.

everyone has time for exercise!

and i dont know cos i dont work in kg...and i cant be arsed to convert it..
I seriously doubt you're chubby. I'm about 5"5-6, weigh about 46kg, and would class myself as slim, so don't think there's any way you could be classed as chubby

Woah, no way you're chubby. 44kg ?? I weigh twice that and I don't even look distinctly chubby (maybe a bit). I'm sure you look very slim.

you're positively underweight. maybe your friend's mum meant it as a compliment. look up your BMI.

Yeah 44kg for your height, no way in hell can you be chubby. I would guess you are slim, just have a minor case of anorexia.

I am not looking for flames but am gonna get some I can tell...
I well lets compare it to me. I am 6ft and I am 100kg. I condersider myself to be chubby(but I do weight training) but 44kg thats like my legs lol. Answer to ur q I dont think ur chubby by ur specs , u might wanna tone urself I guess.

seriously guys, you think she's "slim"? She's under 7 stone. That's definitely beyond slim and onto skinny. people get hospitalised for anorexia at that weight.

i suspect the purpose of this post may have been to boast. if i'm wrong however, you certainly are NOT chubby, don't worry. i'm 65-70kg 5"1 and i don't really look chubby at all, so you most certainly aren't likely to.

I always used to think I was chubby, if you can't find time to exercise and have no will power with food, it's not going to come as much of a suprise. Exercise is a part of being healthy, and even if it doesn't change the way you look you will feel a lot better about yourself. I now realise I'm not chubby, I exercise for fun. Find time! But I'm sure like me you just think it.

Indeed.
I'm almost two inches shorter than the original poster and weigh around 10kg more ... I'm a size 8/10. Chubby is completely out of the question.

BTW TS, you always can make time for exercise. What a poor excuse.
I think that when your friend told you you had put on weight she was giving you a compliment??

Christ.

Im not going to start whining because when I was 6 ft and 7 1/2 stone i thought I was a big ripply monster. Peer pressure can be so cruel. I have much more sense now and look much healthier, I just hope you see the same sense, sugar.

I'm the opposite to anorexia, just with muscles. I am alright in terms of build and my strength is quite good from weightlifting but I always want to get stronger and if I look at myself I see a crap body, even though others have said it's good I always want more...

OP here.
i suspect the purpose of this post may have been to boast.

Hence the anonimity. Its so hard to ask questions like this becuase people assume your boasting, whereas i just want a rough idea how i look to others.

BTW TS, you always can make time for exercise. What a poor excuse.

Ok, fair enough i could be out running now instead of being on here, but i just get exhasted quite alot that i can never get the initial energy to exercise. I did go running for about 2 weeks but that fizzled out as i had to wake up at 6, but i may start again. Its so hard to know what i look like i always assume people are just saying im not chubby. To be honest i would lie if a friend asked me the same thing.

well then you're a crap friend (waits for neg rep) - friendships about honesty...i'd expect my friends to tell me if i got fat.

you will get exhausted if you dont do any exercise at all and your diet is poor...

if your exhausted maybe you aint eating properly then...and besides the more exercise u do the more your body gets used to it and you will be able to do it more.
