Shisha in Bath?

Might sound a bit odd/specialised, but does anyone know of any shisha cafés around Bath? Or any clubs/restaurants that offer shisha?

I'm asking because I really enjoy it as a pastime, sitting around with some friends chatting and passing the hose round the circle. Obviously I won't be able to bring my own hookah with me to uni if I go to Bath, so are there any places that do it?

Thanks in advance for your help
dont do it ! its actually IS bad for your health from what ive read despite what they have said about it only containing 0.01 % nicotine

Its not that bad for your health if you do it once or twice a week and not alot at a time.the water purifies alot of the harmful substances. its healthier than cigarettes, and actually tastes good!

Hey, I asked if there were any places in Bath that do shisha, not everyone's opinions on it!

Of course it's bloody bad for your health - it's just like smoking a big bowl of tobacco leaves soaked in molasses. No tar, so it won't clog up your lungs to the same extent as cigarettes, but it's got to contribute to lung problems in the long run. I'm pretty sure it's high in the nicotine factor too, considering that most cigarette smokers can get a good nicotine buzz from it. When you're burning/heating that amount of tobacco at once, 'course you're going to get more of a hit than one or two cigarettes. I'd say smoking a shisha for the same amount of time as a cigarette would last would be equivalent in nicotnie terms to smoking five cigs at once - that'd be the equivalent amount of tobacco, at least.

I don't condone smoking in any way by asking if there are any shisha cafes in a town, and the last thing this world needs is more "OMG DONT DO IT IT R BAD 4 U" trolls, thanks iceman...

I can't understand whether you are joking or not...epecially since you say you don't condone smoking in any way.

Whatever.

The nearest one is in Bristol. Perhaps Bathonians have more sense.

Just because I'm killing myself slowly from the inside out doesn't mean I would promote it to others.

That would be like saying "Are there any bars nearby?" translates to "OH MY GOD YOU SHOULD ALL DRINK ALCOHOL". :hmmm:

However, thank you for actually answering the question.
Yes there is a shisha place in bath that i went to in the podium, not bad but you have to order food to get a shisha

Hi, I'm a student studying abroad in Athens for the semester. I was wondering, does anyone know of any shisha bars in the area? Yes, I know its bad for me, but that aside, can anyone answer my question? Thanks.

They could still make an outside one, or have some sort of umbrella table thing. They do that here in Bars for the smokers.

Thanks Nefarious. I appreciate the help. Also helps explain why in 7 days of exploring the city I havent seen a single hookah bar. Yet, there are a TON of vendors selling them for dirt cheap. Naturally, I bought one, but is there any special restriction I should know about concerning smoking it? Such as smoking openly in public areas (everyone around here smokes cigarettes all the time...) or privately in my apartment (with the smoke alarm covered or something)? Thanks again.
