Curvy all the way!!!

However, with the likes of the skinny jeans looking to stay forever *groan*....there needs to be an alternative some time soon!!!!!!

I definately prefer a few curves on a woman!

It definitely looks as if it's going down the curvy route!! Excellent. I just realised I should probably have put this in the other section "Fashion & Beauty" but I posted after seeing a load of losing weight threads here... oh well

Always curvy!

The only problem with curvy is that it is often used as a euphenism for big which is not something most guys I know like, obviously very few like the sterotypical stick thin either but slim (size 10-12) is nice, just my opinion of course.

Obviously it's down to personal preference.

Personally I like short, slim girls. But that has nothing to do with anyone else now does it?

I'm quite curvy 36-26-34

What I find odd is that people are supposed to know what that means. I know it's 3 measurements somewhere but I haven't a clue what that looks like.

unless im mistaken:

O
[ ] 36 <- bust
[ ] 26 <- waist
[ ] 34 <- hip
btw if you do a bit of research you might find something called a waist to hip ratio. take 26 divide by 34 and you'll get 0.76 or thereabouts. according to the boffins who did experiments, men universally find women with a ratio of around this 0.75 mark more attractive than those with higher ratios. curves win - and thats science!
36-26-34

is that quite curvy?

I wouldn't have thought so...

I think Im curvy..im not a thin waif with no shape *gross*..which is good..I think my UK size was a 12 with an nice ass...and I'm 5'7...people havent really argued  ..but I mean if guys started sayingthey have a problem the majority of the black guys i know like "thick"

Either. You're missing a couple of options there: an "either" and an "indifferent" would be good.

this might interest people, i myself have always been very interested in human attraction. there are similar ratios you can find for guys, to do with waist compared with chest (a shape like an inverted triangle is best, as you might imagine superman to have!)
if you can't be bothered to read that, it mentions that the reason waist to hip ratios like that of 'applying4maths' is attractive to guys its cause they are more likely to get pregnant.
: Worldwide men of diverse backgrounds, ethnicity and ages have ranked women with a small waist to hip ratio of around 0.7(the waist is 70% the size of the hips), irrespective of variance in weight as the most attractive and healthy (2). This corresponds to scientific assessments that verify a woman with a small waist to hip ratio (WHR) as the most healthy and fertile.

Meh.

Argh, in the spirit of this thread I just measured myself - my hips are sooo not a 36, why couldn't I have lived in blissful unawareness! Put it this way, my ratio is 0.64.

Apparently men are genetically programmed to go for 'curvier' figures, but they probably all have their own preferences, just like women have theirs. As long as they aren't expecting a woman to have an 18-inch waist, breasts like Jordan's and thighs like toothpicks, then fair enough.
I heard that subconciously men are attracted to more curvy women or women with childbearing hips! - so that must be good for the curvy laydees out there!

Curvy.
But NOT if curvy means fat.
