Alcudia ...Majorca or Benidorme? I always get confused with Alicante.

I think its Majoca and i went there with family 2 years ago and it was pretty good. Not sure what the night life was like though. If you want clubbing etc then try Magaulf, ive heard great things about there and stayed near there last year. Its also in Majorca, just the other side of the island

Someone I know from school went there and said she had a great time- they were all 18 and into clubbing etc.
I went to Magaluf and had a great time. Theres probably loads more clubs and young people in Magaluf, but it depends on just how much you want to go out and how 'wild' you are going to get.

Alcudia is the flagship family resort on Majorca.

It is NOT for young people, and is not very nice anyway - it has open sewage / chemical style tanks on the edge, and is in desperate need of an overhaul.

If you want to go to Majorca, Magaluf is your best bet, but is a bit British, fish and chip shops etc., but if thats your thing, go for it. I would recommend trying to get a hotel in Cala Vinas if possible - its about 10-15mins walk from Magaluf, is on a lovely beach and is great for lazy nice days, but where you are very close to the nightlife, but not too close ie people throwing up on your doorstep. There is a great self-catering apartment block called the Barcelo Cala Vinas if you fancy something like that.

I wouldn't go there if somone paid me. No actually I wouldn't (unless it was a lot)

I went through Alcudia when I was in Majorca a couple of years ago and it didn't seem too bad... like any other city's outskirts really. But my mate hated it when she went, she said it was a dump.
