Nothing wrong with being serious, im serious on the surface but my gf sees a different funny side to me that no one else sees. Maybe its because your not totaly comftable with a particular person, like you said you do have a sense on humour but maybe someone would need to get to know you more before they see it.

I laugh when something is funny. But i mean i cant do the flirty laughing that i know some girls do. You know like the laughing at nothing just to make a guy think your cute. Example - is Big Brothers Chantell, (if anyone is watching that) she laughes even when know one is saying anything!

i like people like yourself anon however it can get slightly off putting if you are with a girl who doesnt respond to my jokes and stuff. I am opinionated as well and it doesnt do me many favours because you can end up with a name for yourself that you are stuck up or something worse.

I think the best idea is to kinda lighten up and relax more.

Basically my question is:
Do guys like some one who is flirty, smiling, nice person, laughs at their jokes, but not opinionated, with a completely passive role in a relationship over someone who doesnt flirt as much, maybe more seriouse, nice person with an opinion and who holds some power in a relationship.
It just that i am a nice person, i am not ugly or anything, but i freak guys out so much, like boys talk to me and like me at first, but when we really start talking i am aware that i cant flirt like other girls, and i do take some stuff more seriosly than others, Its ;not like i have no sense of humour , its just that i get shy and cant laugh and joke around guys like others can, and it sort of puts guys off.
Any advice/ comments ?

depends on what day it is whom I like, Flirting is just being over friendly, flutter your eyelids or something, or play with your hair.

shy can be cute too, so that might work for you.
