I hate my mother. And I mean HATE!!!!!! 
Everytime I think of her, I just wish she were in front of me so I can beat her down!
She's always negatively affecting my life. Family means jack. You shouldn't be close with them, so you didn't CHOOSE your family.

No seriously, you might get some advice if you actually say what your problem is with her (I'm presuming that it's not that she killed your father because he had your sister sacrificed so he could go to war.

With all due respect, that's the most idiotic question i've ever read, and i've been her for a good few months now. The latter part, i mean, not the former.

I hate her because she doesn't accept me as me. I had to endure being harassed at school, simply because she thinks "intelligence" is "good".
She doesn't treat her children equally. OK, yes I know parents in general don't, but she doesn't even teach us the same values.

Anyway, parents very rarely accept you as you - I know mine took ages. 5 years after I became a Christian, they've accepted the fact I've turned into a religious nutter like the rest of my extended family.
They didn't accept that I wanted to study physics until I left for university. Now my dad even discusses it with me. That took 2/3 years.
It can be hard to endure, but patience is a virtue. It's most likely that your mother will eventually come round to the fact that she can't impose her own values on yourself
But of course it's not possible for me to give my word on that, as I don't know your mother. I hope the thought helps though

The best thing i can think of is to find out way she treats you the way she does. I am sure there is no harm behind it. She must think you and your siblings needing different values because you have different values to them. Be brave and ask here way she says this to you and not to the rest. Or way she wants you to be more acadmic then you want to. You'll be surprised theres always a reason behind it.
