Hey I know the title of my thread sounds the same as everyone elses but its slightly different..basically about 4 years ago I went on holiday to the states..and I met some of my distant relatives..and there was one guy and i didnt really feel anything for him then because he used to always take the piss out of me which obviously when your young would piss you off! yea and then after I came back from holiday we kept in touch...and I got to know him better..but he always saw me as his little sis...I tried to look at him as a bro..but I cant stop thinking about him...its been four years now and there hasn't been a day that has gone by when i haven't thought about him. We don't talk as much as we used to now..like its rare I saw him last year when i went again hoping the feeling would fade but it just grew stronger...

its hard to get over anyone especially if you fall 4 them really badly, it sounds like you have,
but being realistic its not that he's some really distant 8 times removed cousin thats seems to be the problem its the fact that he lives in the USA thats tough on any prospective relationship.
the day will come when u find someone who is just as great or better and he'll probs only live a couple of streets away much more managable

The thing with him is..Ive seen his really bad side..like he has been really horrible when he was going through a rough time...and even after all the drama i STILL LIKE HIM! hes generally a flirt..so maybe thats influencing my feelings... i really don't know

I cant get over somebody too.
She just went out with some other guy and despite how final that is i still like her so much.
Part of me knows theres no point wasting my time.
But the other part is still hopeful and i dont know why. Like i keep thinking maybe in the future things will change
The best way to approach this problem is to forget about her but i can't. I'm a confused mess.
I guess some things just can't be forgotten about, but we just have to deal with them in our own way.
Probly when u meet another guy he'll just be forgotten and im sure the same kinda thing will apply for me
