Medical Receptionist ATTIRE?

Hi all, I'm possibily gonna be obtaining a medical receptionist position quite soon and was wondering about the attire/clothing? Everyone who knows what I'm talking about, what do you think I'd be able to get away with accessory wise lol /Jokes seriously what would I have to wear to work, and could I experiment with colours and patterns (ie. purple instead of navy)?

Hmmm I'd say you'd have to keep it quite simple sadly, if there's a uniform that involves a navy skirt say, I don't think you'd be able to wear purple. I know when I worked as a receptionist I had to wear a black skirt and white shirt. But I wore cute shoes with a flower on then.I was only allowed minimal jewellery too, so just a simple bracelet, necklace and small hoop earrings. I think it mainly depends on how strict the place is. I always just used to wear purple eyeshadow, and a lipgloss to 'glam it up' a bit, but it didnt really work lol

Yea I was hoping more with the clothing that they'd be lenient on

Nevermind, I'm going to another interview today dressed pretty formally, ie. wearing green shirt under coal/grey blazer, over same colour pants, green accessories to match. Ack, boring lol, but nar I suppose it's what they are expecting hey.
