# FP1 Rectangular Hyperbola watch

1. A rectangular hyperbola H has equation xy=c^2, c>0. The point (ct, c/t) is a general point on H.

The equation to H at (ct, c/t) is x+yt^2 = 2ct.

The point P lies on H. The tangent to H at P cuts the axis at X with coordinates (2a, 0), where a is a constant.

Show that P has coordinates (a, c^2 / a)
