If you found out your therapist or university tutor discloses your medical records that contains your illness such as depression and anxiety intentionally or unintentionally, what would your reaction be and what would you do?

    would your depression become worst?

Well, technically that's illegal (Doctor-Patient confidentiality) for the therapist at least, and your university tutor shouldn't have access to your medical records anyway. So I'd be fairly annoyed. Depending on which tutor it was and how much I liked them, I'd consider making a formal complaint.

Most professional figures would never disclose something like that without consent. If you confided in your tutor that you had depression, they'd keep it to themselves unless something really bad happened (like you tried to kill yourself or something).

I would discuss this with them and tell them it is not acceptable to disclose confidential information about my health. I would not make a formal complaint as I would not want them to lose their job.
