ok so one of my ex bfs opened up to me about their personal life and finally explained to me why he couldnt commit to me at the time and how hes learning to deal with his trust issues bla bla bla.....
then we made up and its all ok.
then he turns around and says "That aside, you've got a new fella anyway, no need to worry bout the past"
what on earth does that mean?
at first i thought it was just an end to the conversation but i never told him im seeing someone, he might have seen me with him.
im really confused whether he still likes me or not.
i really dont know what to think?
any opinions?

do u still like him or not ? Looks like u might still do. He's obviously throwing the bait... 
throwing the bait - as in testing the waters. But he apparently wanted to know what was going on with u. the 'anyways' is like a resignment to the fact that ur not single anymore, and he is now a changed person and maybe u might be interested in getting back. Either that or he was being cocky.

"Well, no matter how we both just talked about feeling, you've moved on, and while that bothers me and I wish you hadn't, I'm going to try to be flippant about it and make it seem like it doesn't matter but it'll backfire and just make me seem regretful and nostalgic"
