I've trained at numerous gyms in the past but I joined the uni gym recently and go early in the morning to beat the crowds and I kind of day dreamed through the induction as I had alot of experience, today I was about to go on the exercise bike but couldn't switch it on, it looked like an ATM machine but I pressed every bloody button on the thing and the screen wouldn't light up, even the obvious 'quick start'. Do you have to start pedaling to get it working as in other gyms i think you just pressed the start button. It is so annoying as you can't ask anyone as they have earphones in and are half dying themselves and the gym instructors are away being lifeguards or something......
I think the gym equipment is pulse fitness btw
Yeah just peddle and when it gets rolling press quick start
lol exercise bikes normally use the energy from pedalling to get started, it's very environmentally friendly but you can't turn them on until you start pedalling.
ok thanks, that could save me from further embarrassment.
