I'm just not sure whether it's worked.

It was for self-esteem/confidence..I felt myself go very heavy and my eyes were cloudy before i closed them but for the first part of the session i was conscious of a pain in my arm/ my nose itching and i'm worried it will cancel out the effects of the session.

Also, i absolutely cannot remember a huge chunk of the session when i was 'under.' Is this okay? Does it mean i wasn't focusing correctly? Or will be sub-conscious have picked up the message?

    Thanks!

I've had hypnotherapy done and I can do it on myself now so I've got a bit of experience with it.

I don't think it'll cancel out the effects because you are still conscious when you're under, you're just in a very relaxed state. My hypnotherapist said it's perfectly normal to not remember anything when it's over, some people do and some don't. You most likely have taken things in but you were just so relaxed you can't remember.
