    There is a part of this reaction where an electron, along with a proton H+ is transferred from PS1 to NADP, to produce Reduced NADP.
    My question is, how is this electron and proton transferred? Is it by the use of the ATP Synthase or another method?

    In short, there is an electron transport chain between the PS1 reaction centre and the enzyme which reduces NADP (which is slightly different depending on whether the photophosphorylation is cyclic or non-cyclic) and the proton is picked up from the chloroplast stroma. The electron transport is coupled with ATP synthesis because elements of the transport chain are proton pumps that contribute to the proton gradient but ATP synthase is not directly involved.
