Ok here is the question : Which of the following is the most likely consequence of an increase in the division of labour in the production of beauty products?

    A. A decrease in the total revenue of beauty products manufacturers
    B. Decreased use of specilised manufacturing equipment.
    C. A decreased in the cost per unit of beauty products
    D. A shift in demand for beauty products.

I first thought it was be, but now i think even with devision of labour equipment would still have to be used. So then i thought A but doesn't a division of labour increase the total output someone help me please.

I think its C. An increase in the division of labour means that workers become more specialised at there job eg. on a production line rather than a worker performing several parts of the process they just perform one part this means that their productivity improves as they are performing the same task again and again. Therefore if productivity increases they are making more products than before as the cost of labour and machinery will remain the same this means the cost is spread over more products and therefore the cost per unit will decrease. Hope I've explained it okay =]
