Found out today Im predicted AAC in Maths, Economics and Further Maths respectively. Sort of messed up two of my math units (Fp1/M1) and it dragged my grade wayy down to a C, despite getting straight A's in every other exam. I was initially planning on applying to a University like LSE for a Maths and Economics degree but im not too sure if i have a chance. There is a slight possibility I can get my teacher to bump up this prediction to a B but im not too sure about this...

Also, i recieved an A in AS computing but i dropped the subject because i preffered to carry on further maths. Im planning on resitting FP1 and M1 to bump up my grade to atleast an A, but he strongly believes that my AS grade will also be my A2 grade. Im sure I can surpass, if not, achieve the above predictions.

Just wondering what my choices are? Whether I would be able to do a course which requires A*AA or something similar or whether i should take a gap year and apply later, rather than getting an offer in a not-so-good university.

Any feedback will be great Thanks (:

If you're happy to take a gap year, you have nothing to lose by applying ambitiously this year. If you get an offer and then meet the grades, all well and good. If not, you can reapply next year which you would have done anyway.
