What are your views on Evidence Based Practice?

I think it should definitely be practiced and should be incorporated somehow into the MBBS curriculum. It enables clinicians to make most effective use of resources and provide the best level of care based on the most current understanding of truth.

Using scientific literature to justify your clinical decisions.

I wasn't aware there was another option, tbh

Yeah, what are you getting at OP? That there are medics out there who prescribe drugs and use diagnosis methods which have no evidence supporting their effectiveness?
Of course there are and of course we all do. The aim of course is to keep abreast of, and participate in, current research appropriate to your field. However, that's a challenge even in the narrow specialities and so we are always a few years behind and we rely on NICE and Cochrane, BestBets and the other sources.
