Protein/Carb Supplements

I'm a Footballer and long-time Gym goer but find that due to school, other commitments and me not having much of a say over the food in the house, I'm not getting enough Protein to help me and probably Carbs too.

What are the best supplements out there for someone in my group? I've neglected the Gym over Christmas but I'm going back again. I do mostly Cardio but obviously I need body strength too so I do a bit of lifting too. Nothing too strenuous.

I need something like 1g-1.5g protein per pound and 1.5g per pound carbs, right? What do others use? I don't want anything too pricey either. Any help would be appreciated.

mass gainer. or whey protein powder if you just want the protein.

ask someone at the gym, there are lots out there and without knowing you or your aims its impossible to give suggestions :smile:
you could take some multi vits in the mean time just to cover yourself

You need about 2.5-3g of carbs per lb bodyweight if you're a footballer looking to increase performance.
