I'm currently studying part-time for a degree in Sociology which i'll complete by the time i'm 27, nearly 28. However, i can choose to go full-time next year if i so wish. I'm just wondering, if i finish earlier (at 25, nearly 26), will this have a better impact on my job prospects?

    Thanks.

Doubt it. Most people who do Sociology go into a career which requires a bit of life experience so applying for graduate jobs in your late 20s won't be a disadvantage. Heck, Open University Sociology graduates are usually far older

Thanks, but i probably should've mentioned i don't want to go into sociology as a career. I was thinking maybe journalism.

Journalism eh? Well I guess if you can write a good article, it doesn't matter how old you are.
