met a guy while i was at a bar a while ago (i was drunk but he was sober), we made out and he came over and we hooked up some more, but i didn't sleep with him. he mentioned he would be leaving the next day to visit home for a week but took my number and later texted me good night, and the next day added me on fb.

i was hoping he would contact me this week (he should be back) but he hasn't, and i can't decide whether to try to contact him (or what to say) or just leave it be.
i'm just so not used to this because i havent been single in three years! and before that i never really went out to bars/clubs and stuff so i've neverhad to deal with this sort of thing :/

Well the question is, do you like him in that way and would you want something to happen? If yes then I would say to give him a quick text or something. If it doesn't work then it doesn't really matter then and you can move on. But it could lead to something amazing! Good luck.

ah yeah i suppose. the thing is just getting out of this relationship i really don't want anything serious but he was quite attractive and i'd like to see him again. i just have never dealt with a situation like this and i'm not sure if the fact he hasn't contacted me means he's clearly not interested and if i would seem desperate texting him after a week and a half...

If you like him enough then contact him he probably thinks he's did his bit by adding you on fb, the ball is in your court now...
