i have started my A-Levels, physics chemistry a2 maths history

at our school for science subjects we take a census exam 3 weeks in to see if we can cope, if you get an below an E we get kicked out unless we can prove we will be able to cope

physics test today, basically failed completely (results not back but i know) i can prove i can do it previous work ranges from C-A grades.

Chemistry, scraped an E, can prove i can do the work like in physics.

Now I don't feel I can do well enough to get the grades i want, most people did really well.

i was doing well till this exam, i just got complete mind blank

do you think it would be worth me continuing or just give up on it
please give me your advice it's making me feel low

Yes, you should give up right now!

Of course not, you haven't even sat a single proper exam yet! I can't remember AS that well but when I did those internal-pre-January exams I did horrifically. Why? I was not prepared at all! The step-up from GCSEs to A-levels is ridiculous. These internal exams are supposed to kick your arse into gear, not to make you give up and to feel disheartened. You should be encouraged to work even harder to achieve brilliant results.
